This is the teaser of a game that I've been working on for the past few months.

Northprey Massacre is a PSX found footage horror game.
You are a police investigator, you are about to join a search party to track down a killer on the loose. But things are not going as the way it should...

I hope you enjoyed it! If you find any bugs, glitches, or misspelling, please contact me or comment it down below.

ABOUT CHAPTER 3:

Chapter 3 is still under development.
In Chapter 3, we will finally meet the cold-blooded Northprey killer. The game will be set around the Route 89 Motel. The motel hides a lot of secrets and mysteries which you will explore while the killer is looking after you.
That's my plan for Chapter 3...

I got stuck on the maze for like 25 minutes lol. Other than that it was a really good game. I also made a gameplay on it, make sure to go check it out!

Hi! Thanks for playing the game! Sorry if you got a little frustrated by the end.

I like the graphics of the game, the puzzle element that you put into it. the atmosphere where it feels like you are about to get jumpscared and even the plot is an interesting one. but the game crashes on me like 4 times which makes me upset and sad at the same time because I really wanted to play this. but anyway, goodluck with the game :D

I'm sorry about the crashes, i'll try to optimize the game when chapter 3 comes out. Strange because when I play tested the game with my friend's PC, (which is much much weaker than mine) it never crashed on him.

Regardless, thanks for playing! :)

This has alot of great potential I can see you clearly took inspiration from puppet combo looking forward to seeing the full game best of luck with it!

Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for playing! :D

I love the aesthetic to this game; the developer has an eye for story and style. As a full-fledged release, I think this could be really good. I hope that the full game expands the environments to outside locations, maybe even multiple locations, as much of what is playable here is more of a maze of walls. Still, the story is intriguing, and there are some engaging puzzles here too. I’m convinced that the full release will expand on the taste we get here.

Thanks for playing it! The full game will include the third chapter that will be set around the motel, so it'll be more open! :D

I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Gave it a go

Thanks for playing! I've answered your question down below at your Youtube video. :)

This was really cool! I loved the puzzle aspects, and the overall look of the game is really creepy. I would've liked to see more of the antagonist, but this was a great experience regardless!

(+1)

Thanks for playing! I'm working on the full game where the antagonist will get a lot of "screen time". :D

I really enjoyed the teaser, shows a lot of promise, and I'm really excited for the full release!

Here's my gameplay for anyone interested:

Thanks for playing it! I'm glad you liked it! :D

it will not allow me to download the game.

Huh? Strange... Can you explain your issue?

option bug: At main screen option I set the volume to max and start the game but in the game option volume is not max

and you should remove the read icon for the map

Also you can go through chair and clock i don't if its bug or not though

I will release a new version of the game tomorrow where i will fix these minor issues. Also i'll add a gamma slider in the options menu because for a lot of people the game is kinda a dark. (there is a slight chance that i will add a flashlight)

Thanks for the feedback again

Could you make the knight's maze easier? little bit hard I think

and there is missing hz in the option for example 1920x1080 143hz

(1 edit)

Yeah i noticed that after play testing it with my friend, i see what i can do about it. If you really struggle with it, try following the shields, mounted on the wall.

Edit: i've added a map of the maze and maybe fixed the Hz issue. I also cranked up the fov of the knight so it's a little bit easier to navigate through. Thanks for your feedback! I appreciate it. :)

Thank you very much, when will next mode open?

I don't really know to be honest. I don't wanna rush it. I will try to post updates on my Youtube channel if something interesting happens.

Is there anything to do in this demo after using the key from that mannequin room? I'm not sure if I missed something or if that's it. It looks pretty cool though.

(+1)

There is a room next to the mannequin room that you can open and read a note. (hint: watch out for dates) Thanks for trying it tho. :)

I know it is just a demo, but it already sucked me in. Haunting enough to make my not want to open a door and continue. Bravo! Can't wait for the full release!

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it :)
